What is this funny-shaped place?
- Listen to and practise speaking the dialogue by yourself and then with a partner.
- Discuss with your partner which parts of the dialogue apply to Canada or your country or countries of origin. Then, with that in mind, record your dialogue on Audioboom.com.
- Write a paragraph of about 50 words using a few words from the dialogue to contrast the outdoors in two different countries.
In Canada, air is always fresh and healthy. We enjoy the beautiful views far and near. Even though it is very cold in winter, the views are amazing. In China, most of the cities have suffered from air pollution. Even if in the countryside, we can't catch sight of the green forests or clear ponds. It is important to realize that environmental protection must be everyone's responsibility. With everyone's efforts, the environment will be better and better.
